Haha. I was getting worried that you actually thought Switzerland was an EU country.
Germany and Switzerland should just pull out of the eurozone already and leave the invalid socialist countries to become less retarded at economics
Strong everything. Can’t tell if ignorant troll or not.
Source: being an economics student at the B.A. level. Hopefully shit gets real by the Masters level, but I might have to wait for the PhD.
listen, i can relate to artsy people
i used to daydream about joining a band and touring the world and all that shit. even now, my ideal career is to become an author (srs)
but i’m not doing that because i won’t make enough money to support myself, let alone any future wife or kids. my desire to…
At the same time, life is long and if you aren’t doing something you love, you’re not going to enjoy it very much. What’s important is to gauge your interests and to be realistic about the level of talent you possess and about the compensation you can expect at the end of your path. Don’t study anything because university seems like it kinda might be a good idea: that’s a guaranteed path to a truly useless degree or to dropping out. But if you’re certain that you want to be a writer and you feel that an English Lit degree is what you need, no one should denigrate you. Just be realistic about the outcome. My gf has an Englit degree, and she works four jobs, the highest-paying of which is 15$ an hour. My brother’s going to college to study music, and then he’ll probably acquire a trade as a carpenter and find a flexible job as such (it’s feasible and I’ve known other people who’ve done it).
This doesn’t apply specifically to you, Isaac. You seem like someone who’d actually enjoy business. I would, however, strongly recommend you to take English electives where you can. University’s not about the piece of paper, and business is too easy anyways. All those non-lucrative degrees like art history, anthropology etc are way harder than business, econ or the like. Also, only science degrees guarantee that you’ll be in demand in the work force.
Tara is a dark-skinned woman. How the hell did you get that to Rosario Dawson!? Fuck off OP.
I don’t understand this confession. Do they mean Tara should have been played by Rosario Dawson in the book to show transition? Or…? I mean I just don’t get it.
No the person is saying that Rosario could play Tara. This isn’t the first one of these.
Like there is one where someone said Ewan McGregor as Sam. Another where someone said Hayden Patt (however you spell her last name) can play Pam. Viola Davis as Lettie Mae.
There are others, but I haven’t cared until I saw this one.
she’s black enough for me
also she’s hot so whatever
Sean Connery should’ve played God in Bruce Almighty because seriously? A black guy? Nigga GTFO. btw, Rosario is WAAAAYYY better looking
Rosario Dawson is my waifu.

Lots of people work hard to, basically, give their kids a better life. Unfortunately life isn’t fair, and someone who works their behind off as a waiter is not going to be as successful as the young women below:
I’m not trying to “make it all better,” truthfully I don’t think it can be made better via egalitarian principles.
This defeatist attitude is the reason why the States is falling behind, becoming generational kakistocracy. Once, you bros were actually trying to create a better society. Now, you defend the status quo, thinking that because that’s the way it is means that that’s the way it always was and always will be. Luckily, there are still optimists, which is the reason that the world hasn’t gone to total shit.
Stop greasing your cornhole and fight, goddamn it! Elect the best people to lead you, tolerate no corruption, demand transparency, invest collectively in your future. You can do better, Americans. We in Québec once looked to you as a model society. We still have faith in you.
